I had previously recorded Boom! Tune of the Day daily on Instagram, so I'll be recycling some of those tunes, as well as digging for new ones... enjoy!
The Ruts "Jah War" (Original Boom! Tune of the Day from November 11, 2016)
Today's Boom! Tune of the Day is "Jah War" by The Ruts, from their 1979 Virgin Records LP, The Crack.
A skanking, punky-reggae tune from a band that emerged from London's late 70's punk movement. After singer, Malcolm Owen died from a heroin overdose in 1980, the band continued as Ruts DC.
