Today's Boom! Tune of the Day is "Praise Jah Dub" by Sanchez, from the 1989 Real Authentic Sound LP, Number One.




This one is a the dub version of "Praise Jah," produced by Philip "Fatis" Burrell. 

The dub version of this album was released as a ROIR cassette, these tapes were often a domestic gateway to sounds coming from Jamaica, the U.K. and beyond and, in my youth, fed my growing interest in dub and dancehall.

This is one of the reggae tunes from this crucial, classic, hardcore punk album.
