Today's Boom! Tune of the Day is "The Edge" by Mos Def, from the 2004 Draft Records / Traffic Entertainment Group single, The Edge.
This one is a conscious rap that borrows a line from Grandmaster Flash & The Furious Five's "The Message." It was featured as a musical appearance on Chappelle's Show.
