Einstürzende Neubauten "Halber Mensch" (Original Boom! Tune of the Day from October 30, 2017)
Today's Boom! Tune of the Day is "Halber Mensch" from the 1985 Some Bizzare release by Einstürzende Neubauten, 1/2 Mensch.
I had never heard anything like this when first exposed to this band as a teenager. A discordant chorale in German from a band known for performing with power tools, large scraps of metal and even molotov cocktails... Intriguingly spooky!
