Today's Boom! Tune of the Day is "Nightmares" by Dana Dane, from his 1985 Profile Records 12" single, Nightmares as well as appearing on his 1987 debut LP, Dana Dane With Fame.



This one is a horror story rap by the N.Y.C. MC who, in high school, was a member of The Kangol Crew with Slick Rick.

Today's  Boom! Tune of the Day is "Blood On His Lips" by Scientist, from his 1981 Greensleeves Records / Jah Guidance LP, Scientist Rids The World Of The Evil Curse Of The Vampires.



 

This one is the dub of Wayne Jarrett's "Love In A Mi Heart" which was produced by Henry "Junjo" Lawes, the horror themed version is one of many examples of the masterful mixing skills of one like Overton "Scientist" Brown.
